Who We Are

Purpose Statement
The purpose of Grace Church Aurora is to glorify God by lovingly making disciples who worship and obediently serve Him. In our efforts to meet this purpose, we utilize the
Win-Build-Send model of ministry.

Are We Denominational?
Grace Church Aurora is a Bible church, a name many churches have adopted because they emphasize teaching the Bible. Bible churches are not a denomination and are usually independent of each other. Except for the emphasis on the Bible, these churches may be very different.

Our particular church consists of people from different backgrounds -- Roman Catholic, Baptist, Presbyterian, and many others. Anyone who is investigating the Christian faith or who sincerely believes in Jesus Christ as Savior and wants to live for Him, whatever his or her background, is welcome.

What Do We Believe?
We believe in the great historic doctrines of the Christian faith -- the authority and inerrancy of the Bible, the Trinity, salvation by faith in Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His substitutionary death for our sins, His resurrection, the work of the Holy Spirit in helping each believer live the Christian life, the priesthood of each believer, and the importance of discipleship. You can also read our
doctrinal statement on-line which lists our beliefs in detail.

God is doing tremendous things among us here at Grace. In response to His love and His Word, we are committed to these four priorities:

1. Growing in our love for God,
2. Growing in our love for our family,
3. Growing in our love for the family of God (our fellow believers), and
4. Growing in our love for the people who need to know Christ personally.

That is what we are all about as a church and why we are so interested in you!
